Nisha’s Little Buddies is a training center for parents, children, and childcare providers with a commitment to total education in academic enrichment, safety, self-esteem, cultural exchange, creative growth, and positive interpersonal skills. Our adult workshops are designed to equip parents and childcare providers with the tools necessary to ensure that the children they love and care for are prepared to succeed in school and in life. We also emphasize the importance of open communication between childcare providers and parents regarding mutual expectations, thus enabling them to form a partnership that maximizes the child’s personal development. Our “little buddies” workshops concentrate on age-appropriate instruction in subjects including math, reading, science, art, sign language, manners, sibling and peer relationships, self-confidence, and household skills. The primary goal of the Nisha’s Little Buddies program is to help redefine childcare in America as a group endeavor that starts in the home and focuses on the whole of a child’s individual gifts and growth.
Nisha’s Little Buddies was founded in Carlsbad, CA in 1992 by a stay-at-home mom frustrated with unstructured daycare programs and determined bridge the gaps between parents, children, and childcare providers. As your partner, Nisha’s Little Buddies will help you build a solid foundation for your children that fosters a love of learning and ability to meet the academic and social challenges of early childhood education.
Our children’s workshops and camps provide a safe and pleasant atmosphere with curricula aimed at fulfilling the developmental needs of each child, in each stage, from twelve months through the twelfth grade. Children are encouraged to learn through play and to explore every activity at their own pace. Our objective is to provide a comfortable experience that promotes growth, builds confidence, and nurtures independence. Respect and manners are heavily emphasized, as a means to teach the importance of self-worth and the development of happy, solid relationships with others. There is a strict enrollment cap on every course to allow each buddy ample individual attention to aid in his or her progress; and parents are given homework to incorporate into their evening routines which reinforce what their child learned during the day.
